Pascal is a commercial insurance account executive. Generalist and able to accommodate any type of businesses in their commercial insurance needs, Pascal focuses mainly on Mid-Market accounts, from mid-size enterprises to larger sized accounts.
Pascal has occupied various roles in different organization throughout his career before joining the insurance industry. He has many years of experience in automotive sales and leasing. He has also worked many years in government as executive assistant to the leader of the opposition and to many different ministers with portfolios such as finances, postsecondary education, training and labor.
Now with Goguen Champlain insurance part of Gallagher, Pascal’s many experiences in different roles has provided him with many tools to understand his client’s needs and the capacity to help his clients facing challenges by offering more than simply insurance coverage.
Pascal has been actively involved in his community by being part of many committees and boards throughout the years, sitting on the board for a homeless shelter, as a governor on the Université de Moncton’s board of governor, as president of the student union and many other community causes.
Pascal has been chosen to be part of Gallagher’s National New Producer’s Development program for the 2019 cohort.
Originally from Miscou Island, Chantal began her career in personal lines insurance in 1982, working on the Acadian Peninsula until she left for Moncton in 1987 to begin university studies. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Universitie de Moncton with a major in information-communications.
Chantal joined the Goguen Champlain Insurance team in 1996, and specializes in selling personal lines property and casualty insurance. Her job is her passion. Professionally, Chantal takes great pride in meeting the needs of her clients, which gives her the satisfaction of a job well done.
Spending much of her free time with her husband, Charles, and two sons, Jérémie and Philippe, Chantal is also a runner. Running runs in her family: her husband is a marathon runner and one of her sons is a triathlete.
In 2015, Chantal ran the 5k on Canada Day, she crossed PEI’s Confederation Bridge on foot for the Terry Fox Run, and she ran in the Legs for Literacy 5k . In 2016, she ran the Soaring Soles 5k in DeBary, Florida, and placed in third in her category, and plans to run a 5k for a cause that is very close to her heart: women’s mental health.
Carmen has been with Assurance Goguen Champlain Insurance since 1990.
With over 30 years of experience in the Insurance Industry, Carmen has gained a great deal of insurance knowledge over the years. She has held many positions within the industry from Bookkeeping, to Personal Lines insurance and for more than 10 years now, as a Senior Account Executive in Commercial Lines, where she is happiest.
Carmen obtained her Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation in 1992 and as a strong believer in continuing education, is constantly keeping abreast of changes in the industry by being involved and by upgrading her education.
Outside of the office, Carmen has been campaign coordinator for United Way for many years. In her spare time, Carmen enjoys time spent with family and friends, painting and kayaking. She also enjoys travelling and discovering new places and cultures.
Roger LeBlanc, CIP, CAIB, CPIB
Roger joined the Assurance Goguen Champlain Insurance team in 2004. He started working as a Personal Lines producer and soon moved into Commercial Lines where he was involved in the start-up of our Commercial Small Business Unit in 2007.
Roger obtained both the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) and Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designations in 2005, and then in 2008 upgraded his education to add the Canadian Professional Insurance Broker (CPIB) designation to his accomplishments. Roger supports continuing education and continually attends insurance related seminars and workshops.
Roger is a past member of the Dieppe Rotary Club, is a Fundraising Committee Member for a local Canada Day Run, which supports the people with Special Needs in our community, and he volunteers with his Parish Council.
In his spare time, Roger enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends. Roger is a believer in the benefits of good clean eating and physical fitness so it is not surprising that he starts his day by going to the gym. Roger also enjoys running, spin classes, resistance training and snowshoeing in the winter months.
Having joined Assurance Goguen Champlain Insurance, now part of Arthur J Gallagher Canada Ltd. in 1995, Luc has amassed over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry where his specialty is Commercial Insurance. Luc takes great interest in designing and providing the right insurance plan for his clients’ specific needs.
As an original partner with Assurance Goguen Champlain Insurance, and in his current role as Vice President of Commercial Lines, Luc is kept busy overseeing a large book of Commercial accounts.
Luc obtained his Fellowship with the Insurance Institute of Canada in 1996, following a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the Université de Moncton. Luc is a past president of the Insurance Brokers Association of New Brunswick (IBANB), and also serves on many committees and boards within his community.
Luc enjoys time spent with his wife Angela and his two sons, Patrik and Frédérik. His hobbies include hockey and baseball.
Rick Melanson, B.Ed, CAIB
Rick was born and raised in Moncton, New Brunswick. After graduating from the Université de Moncton, Rick began a brief career in teaching after which flourished a 16 year career with Labatt Breweries of Canada, which allowed Rick to expand his many social contacts.
Rick obtained his Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation in 2007 and then began his career with Assurance Goguen Champlain Insurance, now part of Arthur J Gallagher Canada Ltd. In his current role as Director of Sales, New Brunswick, Rick leads and mentors our Commercial sales team.
Rick has been involved in various community fundraising committees and volunteer boards for many years. In his spare time, his interests include fishing, football and traveling. Rick is the father of two and enjoys time spent with family and friends.
