Originally from Miscou Island, Chantal began her career in personal lines insurance in 1982, working on the Acadian Peninsula until she left for Moncton in 1987 to begin university studies. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Universitie de Moncton with a major in information-communications.
Chantal joined the Goguen Champlain Insurance team in 1996, and specializes in selling personal lines property and casualty insurance. Her job is her passion. Professionally, Chantal takes great pride in meeting the needs of her clients, which gives her the satisfaction of a job well done.
Spending much of her free time with her husband, Charles, and two sons, Jérémie and Philippe, Chantal is also a runner. Running runs in her family: her husband is a marathon runner and one of her sons is a triathlete.
In 2015, Chantal ran the 5k on Canada Day, she crossed PEI’s Confederation Bridge on foot for the Terry Fox Run, and she ran in the Legs for Literacy 5k . In 2016, she ran the Soaring Soles 5k in DeBary, Florida, and placed in third in her category, and plans to run a 5k for a cause that is very close to her heart: women’s mental health.
